![]() ![]() What I find nice is that even if you fail at getting everything you usually still end up with some okay futures ![]() So with only 3 houses i would have one as a general class which I throw everyone into and then separate out students who are only missing 1 or maybe 2 types of magic and put them into one of the two other houses and prioritize the type of magic they lack (you might also need to prevent the general house from studying that magic to make sure there is room in the class for your selected students you can ban the general house from studying the type of magic or prioritize all other types of magic so they will fill that type of magic classrooms last) You can make do with 3 houses i think but ideally you have more as less houses means you have to micro manage more (and will likely have less success at getting Thaumaturgs) though then again even if it is good it is likely too much of a hassle to bother with most of the time? Though I am just playing at normal so maybe it isn't as good as it seems. You also get a lot of items because you don't use any of the specialized rooms I wouldn't recommend it as it takes a lot of micro managing your students And then using the houses to priortize different magics and moving the students to the next house when they got to level 1+. I only built the basic classrooms which train all classes of that magic type (the merchants always offer you the option to buy classrooms for 200 gold). Thaumaturges seem pretty good? Starting with some magical knowdlege and it makes getting more Thaumaturges easier (it requires level 1+ in every single class of magic) and getting the first level is rather easy (especially with Jack of All trades which gives +100% bonus to the first level and also increase the odds of getting Thaumaturge as the students future)Īt this point with almost 60 Thaumaturges I got a student which already was level 1 in everything except Demonology, Necromancy and Temporal magic which where around 75% to level 1 ![]()
